Install the NIVAS Bot
The NIVAS Bot is a small app on your own computer. It posts the campaigns you prepare in Ultimate Post, with your own Facebook account. This guide takes you from the installer to a bot that is on.
What you need
Mac
macOS 13 or newer. There are two installers, both .pkg files: one for Apple silicon, one for Intel. Use the one that matches your Mac.
Windows
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. One installer, an .exe file.
Your invitation and a posting account
NIVAS Bot is for invited members: log in, or request an invitation. In NIVAS, a Facebook posting account must already be added in Ultimate Post: you pair the computer for it.
A one-time confirmation
The NIVAS Bot is not registered with a paid Apple developer account, nor with the equivalent code-signing service on Windows. So the first time you open the installer, your computer asks you to confirm that you want to open it.
You confirm once. After that, the app opens normally, and updates install from inside the app, with no confirmation step again.
Mac
Install on a Mac

Open the .pkg installer for your Mac: Apple silicon or Intel.

If macOS blocks it, open System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Click Open Anyway.

Type your Mac password to confirm, then follow the installer to the end.
Windows
Install on Windows

Open the .exe installer.

If Windows protected your PC appears, click More info.

Click Run anyway, then follow the installer to the end.
Set up in the app
The NIVAS Bot window then walks you through five steps; the top of the window shows Step 1 of 5, Step 2 of 5 and so on.

Pair this computer
In NIVAS, open Settings › Computers › Pair this computer: type a Computer name, tick the Accounts this computer posts for, then Create key and Copy key. The key is shown only once: keep it private. Then open NIVAS Bot and paste this key.

Put Facebook in English (US)
Set the Facebook language to English (US).

Log into Facebook
Log in with your own Facebook account: the one that is already a member of the groups you post to.

Yes, this is my account
The app shows a check with three green lines. If it is your account, confirm here.

Done — the bot is on
The bot now posts the campaigns you launch in Ultimate Post. Keep the computer on and NIVAS Bot running while it posts.
Updates
Updates happen inside the app. When one is ready, the NIVAS Bot shows Update now; you can also use Check for updates. On a Mac you type your Mac password. There is no Open Anyway or Run anyway step again.
